The Black Faculty and Staff Association at App State meets monthly both virtually and in-person to share news, updates, to foster our shared sense of community, and to celebrate who we are and what we do for our university, our community and our students. We also offer occasional social events at local restaurants during the academic year. As Black leaders on our campus, we also encourage all of the community to support our students in their curricular and extracurricular activities such as Theatre and Dance, Athletics, Music, Art, The Apparel and Design yearly SHOWCASE, our Black Student Association and our Black Sororities and Fraternities.
